1. What we store
- Discord IDs of servers, channels, roles and members who use the bot, and the names shown in auction messages.
- Auctions: item details, images you upload, prices, bids, auto-bid maximums and results.
- Trades: ticket messages, the Trade Info you enter, confirmations, ratings and archived transcripts.
- Moderation: strikes, bans and staff actions.
- Settings: server configuration, your DM preferences, and subscription details (plan, dates, license key).
We do not store payment card numbers. Payments go through the payment provider you choose in the ticket.
2. Why we store it
Only to run the service: show and settle auctions, open and archive trade tickets, display reputation, apply your server's rules, send the DMs you asked for, and manage subscriptions.
3. Message content
AuctionBot saves message text only from its trade tickets, as a transcript when the ticket closes. In auction rooms it may remove members' chat messages to keep the rooms clean, without saving them. It does not store messages from your other channels.
4. Where it is kept
Data is kept in the bot's database on a secured server. Auction images are kept as copies in a private Discord channel so they stay available after the auction. Archives are posted in your server's staff-only archive channel.
5. How long
We keep your server's data while the bot is on it, so history and reputation stay available. When the bot leaves a server, its data can be deleted on request. Archives posted in your server stay under your control.
6. Sharing
We do not sell your data. It is only processed by Discord, which delivers the bot's messages, and by our hosting provider.
7. Your choices
- Turn off outbid and ending DMs with
/notifications. - Ask for a copy or the deletion of your data in a ticket on our Discord.
- Server admins can remove the bot at any time.
8. Contact
Privacy questions: open a ticket in our Discord server.
